Responsibilities:
 Trouble Ticketing, Fault Escalation and follow-up for timely resolution of issues.
 Analysis of System overall performance during swap.
 Integration of new equipment and verification of BOQs/ATPs.
 Overseeing network expansion, patch implementation, hardware upgrade activities and performing service and sanity testing afterwards.
 Check for the feasibility of integrating new node with existing setup.
 Performing critical activities like License uploading, hardware replacement etc.
 Analysis of KPIs and taking remedial action in case of degradation.
 Fault management and root cause analysis.
 Maintaining Checklist of Hardware/Software Faults in System and taking remedial action.
 Extend NOC Transmission support to regional field teams and vendors for network rollout.
 Providing level two and level three support to internal and external stakeholders.
 Configuration on Datacom IP/MPLS, BITS, Optix, UMUX/PDMUX, NEC, RTN, HSTX.
 Transmission Network Performance evaluation and report generation.
 Daily completing tasks of NOC Transmission check list to identify the network anomalies and taking necessary actions for the resolution of issues on daily basis.
 Optimize KPI for better network performance, rectify and report the faults in Transmission Network involving IP/MPLS, Optical Fiber Support Network (OSN), Microwave (RTN/NEC/HSTX), ATM/Frame Relay, PDMUX/UMUX.
 Analysis of KPIs and taking remedial action in case of degradation.
 Training new employees about the technological and topological background and enabling them to handle all departmental related queries.
 Co-ordination with leased media service providers for alarm escalation and fault resolution.

 Handling Huawei U2000 and ZTE Netnumen NMS.
 Alcatel-Lucent NMS.
 Providing, Handling/Troubleshooting of Digital Cross Connect and Bank Data Circuits.
 Providing technical support to DSL customers.
 Installation/Configuration and Troubleshooting of new/Live Huawei, ZTE and Alcatel
MSAGs/MSAN.
 Installation/Configuration and Troubleshooting of new/Live Huawei and ZTE DSLAMs.
 Provisioning/Troubleshooting of Value Added Services like Video on Demand (VOD), and
IPTV.
 Providing remote technical assistance to customers regarding Internet connectivity.
 Troubleshooting all issues related to LAN & WLAN.
